i have researched six different breeds of cats—russian blues, maine coons, siamese, snowshoes, egyptian maus, and american shorthairs—and the selection of these breeds was either random or recommended by friends. i believe all cats deserve loving homes and owners who know how to care for their pet, so i hope the information i have amassed might be helpful for future cat owners in knowing how to care for these specific breeds!

egyptian maus: this breed is the epitome of elegance, and also the only domestic cat breed that is naturally spotted. they are intelligent, quiet, and athletic, playful, and do well with families, children, and cat friendly pets. learn more...
american shorthairs: this is a very common breed, and it's low maintenance, intelligent, adaptable, independent, and easily trainable, so they make for great first cats. learn more...
